Prof. Dr. Jacob Jose MD (General Medicine), DM (Cardiology), MS (University of Pennsylvania, USA), FCCP, FACC, FIAE, FCSI, FASE. He worked as Professor of Cardiology in the Christian Medical College, Vellore, and subsequently the department. He then worked overseas in the Kingdom of Brunei as a Consultant Cardiologist. Prof. Dr. Renu George
Prof. Renu George was a faculty member in the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy at Christian Medical College, Vellore from 1989- 2019. She was Professor and Head of the Department from 2002- 2008 and from 2012-2016. During her tenure at CMC she was actively involved in patient care and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. Her work experience extends to Adelaide, South Australia, and Brunei. Professor Renu George's special interests include General Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology. Her interest in Pediatric Dermatology led her to establishing the Pediatric Dermatology service at CMC in 1997 and a fellowship course in the same in 2017. She was ENT faculty at CMC Vellore for 30 years till her superannuation in 2015, following which she was HOD at PIMS. She has international work experience as Senior ENT consultant at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital in Oman and Alice Springs Hospital in Australia. She received Fellowship in Rhinology & Endoscopic Sinus Surgery from University of Graz, Austria (1999) and had further work exposure to endoscopic sinus surgery in John Hopkins as well as Pediatric ENT at Stanford University in USA and GOS Hospital for Sick children in UK. She was the founder coordinator (Program director) for Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology at CMC (Vellore) under MGR Medical University at Tamil Nadu. Dr. Mary is a life member of Associations of Otorhinolaryngologists of India, Indian Academy of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and Neuro-otology & Equilibriometric Society of India. She is the first Indian International Member of American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology (ASPO). Dr. G V Sampath holds a master’s degree in Commerce and doctorate in International Business. He was a trustee of the Vellore Institute of Technology and former Vice President of the VIT University. He was the main driving force behind its enormous expansion. Prof. Dr. Nitin Kekre
Prof. Dr. Nitin Kekre M.Ch., is an eminent urologist with experience of over 35 years. He was former Head of Department, Urology, Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore. He was Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Journal of Urology, former member of the executive board of the British Journal of Urology, International and Ex-President of the Association of Southern Urologists, India. He is currently Deputy Chairman of the Urology Association of Asia - South Eastern region. He is a member of the Super specialty board for Urology, National Board of Education, India. He has more than 100 publications in National and International peer reviewed Journals. He has special interest in the field of functional urology, uro-oncology and renal transplantation. Prof. Dr. Ashok Chacko
Prof. Dr. Ashok Chacko MD., DM, FRCP (London), FRCP (Glasgow), FIMSA, FAMS, has more than 38 years experience in managing patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases. He was the Head, Division of Gastrointestinal Sciences, Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore, and Director, Institute of Gastroenterology & Liver diseases, Madras Medical Mission, Chennai. He is past President, Indian Society of Gastroenterology (National) and Former Counsellor, Asia-Pacific Association of Gastroenterology.

Prof. Dr. Aravindan Nair M.S., M.N.A.M.S., retired as Head, Dept. of Endocrine Surgery, Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore. He is Emeritus Professor of Surgery, Dr. M. G. R. Medical University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He was responsible for establishing Endocrine Surgery as a separate sub-specialty for the first time in our country. His special areas of interest are Breast and Endocrine Surgery and General Surgery. In addition to being a distinguished surgeon, he is known for his dedication as a teacher.

Prof. Dr. Jacob Jose
Prof. Dr. Jacob Jose MD (General Medicine), DM (Cardiology), MS (University of Pennsylvania, USA), FCCP, FACC, FIAE, FCSI, FASE. He worked as Professor of Cardiology in the Christian Medical College, Vellore, and subsequently the department. He then worked overseas in the Kingdom of Brunei as a Consultant Cardiologist. He was awarded the best teacher award by the MGR Medical University, Chennai. His special interest is Cardiac Imaging. He underwent special training in Germany in advanced CT scan interpretation of the heart. He trained in Clinical Epidemiology in the USA and has been a reviewer of many Indian and International journals.

Prof. Dr. Vernon Neville Lee
Prof. Dr. Vernon Lee MS. M.Ch., was earlier Head of Orthopaedics, Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore. He has been in the field of Orthopaedics for over 36 years. After completing his undergraduate and post-graduate education at the prestigious Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore, he continued to fine tune his skills, pursuing higher studies abroad. He did his M.Ch. (Orthopaedics) at Liverpool, Knee fellowship at Nottintham, UK, Arthroscopic Knee surgery at the Singapore General Hospital, advanced training in joint revision, computer navigation and lower limb reconstruction in France and Canada. Dr. Mathew J Chandy
Prof. Mathew Jacob Chandy is one of the senior most Neurosurgeons in India.
Prof. MJC, as he is favouritely known, studied and served in the world famous Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore for over 25 years. Prof. Dr. Renu George
Prof. Renu George was a faculty member in the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy at Christian Medical College, Vellore from 1989- 2019. She was Professor and Head of the Department from 2002- 2008 and from 2012-2016. During her tenure at CMC she was actively involved in patient care and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. Her work experience extends to Adelaide, South Australia, and Brunei. Professor Renu George's special interests include General Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology. Her interest in Pediatric Dermatology led her to establishing the Pediatric Dermatology service at CMC in 1997 and a fellowship course in the same in 2017. She has 95 publications in national and international journals, authored chapters in dermatology, pediatric and geriatric textbooks and peer reviewed articles for national and international journals. She has also been a faculty at National conferences and presented papers both in India and abroad.

Prof. Dr. Mary Kurien
Dr. Mary Kurien, MBBS, DLO, MS
Former Professor & Head of ENT, Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore and Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, (PIMS) completed her MBBS from CMC Ludhiana and MS from CMC Vellore. She was ENT faculty at CMC Vellore for 30 years till her superannuation in 2015, following which she was HOD at PIMS. She has international work experience as Senior ENT consultant at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital in Oman and Alice Springs Hospital in Australia. She received Fellowship in Rhinology & Endoscopic Sinus Surgery from University of Graz, Austria (1999) and had further work exposure to endoscopic sinus surgery in John Hopkins as well as Pediatric ENT at Stanford University in USA and GOS Hospital for Sick children in UK. She was the founder coordinator (Program director) for Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology at CMC (Vellore) under MGR Medical University at Tamil Nadu. Dr. Mary is a life member of Associations of Otorhinolaryngologists of India, Indian Academy of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and Neuro-otology & Equilibriometric Society of India. She is the first Indian International Member of American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology (ASPO). She is also a member of INDCLEN (International Clinical Epidemiology– India CLEN as well as INDIACLEN Institutional Review Board–IRB from June 2002 to 2004. She was a board member of Postgraduate Studies in Pondicherry University from 2020 – 2023 and member of Institutional Ethics Committee at PIMS from 2016 to 2023. She is the examiner for MBBS, DLO and MS since 1992, DNB (ENT) since 2001 and Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pediatric ENT since 2013. She has more than 80 peer reviewed publications and has been reviewer in both national and international journals. Her publications have been quoted in ENT postgraduate text books. Most recently she has contributed a chapter on medical etiquette and ethics in an undergraduate ENT textbook.

Prof. Dr. Sheila Nair
Prof. Dr. Sheila Nair MD: With over 40 years experience as a Histopathologist, Dr. Sheila retired as Professor and former head of department, Department of Histopathology, Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore. Her special areas of interest are lymphoma, bone marrow pathology and immunohistochemistry. She has published several papers and done research projects in her areas of interest.

Prof. Dr. M. S. Seshadri
Dr. Seshadri, one of the pioneers of Medical Endocrinology in India, retired from the Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore as the Founder Head of the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at CMC Hospital, Vellore.
