Doctor’s opinion and cost estimate

We will first examine the patient’s comprehensive medical records along with the results of previous tests done, which you can email us. After your reports are duly studied, our expert team of doctors will present the most probable course of treatment, the cost, and the length of time needed to stay in the hospital, as well as in Vellore, after discharge. However, the final treatment strategy can only be decided following a thorough clinical and investigative evaluation at Naruvi Hospitals.

Visa process

As soon as the patient’s visit to Naruvi Hospitals is confirmed, we will send a visa invitation letter to the Indian Embassy or High Commission in their country of residence. To begin this process, the following information is required:

Copies of each person’s passport, including those of any guests/attendants. Tentative travel dates (inbound and outbound)

Accommodation

The patient’s accommodation in the hospital will be arranged in accordance with the communication with us before departure from the point of origin. The type of room that the patient chooses to stay will determine the number of attendants that will be permitted to stay along with the patient. The rooms could range from the Presidential Suite, Single Suite, Single Deluxe to Twin Sharing.

Airport transport on arrival

On arrival, the patient will be received by a Naruvi Hospitals staff driver, who will be at the end of the airport arrival concourse, holding a placard with a personal welcome note. The patient will be safely driven to the hotel they have been booked into or to Naruvi Hospitals.

Mode of payment

A bank transfer of the quoted amount by NEFT at least a week before the patient’s arrival is our preferred mode of payment. Alternatively, you can make the payment on arrival or by an international credit card. In case of a bank transfer, please send us the remittance receipt once the transfer is initiated. In the unlikely event of the bill exceeding the quoted package due to unavoidable complications or stay longer than the package covers, the excess amount is to be settled before discharge.

Care after discharge

The patient’s primary doctor will provide them with detailed instructions upon discharge. If they have undergone surgery, they might be advised to remain close to the hospital for a couple of extra days until their stitches are removed or if they need close follow-up before leaving Vellore.

Airport transfer post-departure

Once the patient’s departure has been green-lit, a Naruvi Hospitals driver will pick them up from their place of accommodation and drop them off at the airport, safely and securely.

Online consultations

We understand how important being home is for a patient’s recovery. That’s why we offer flexible online consultations. The patient could have these online consultations with their doctor at planned intervals or at their behest, should they need to contact their doctor in the interim.

While you can choose the hotel you want to stay in post- discharge, we do have a list of associated hotels that we believe share the same principle for care. You can browse this list at your convenience and choose a hotel of your liking.
