Belonging to a distinguished family of entrepreneurs and institutional innovators in Vellore, Mrs. Anitha Sampath, wife of Dr. G.V. Sampath, Founder-Chairman of 'Naruvi Hospitals', has brought to her new role a whiff of fresh air to a top-class, niche health facility that treats thousands of new patients in a variety of medical disciplines, blending quality with affordability.
A professional touch, deep commitment to the value of human life, empathy and an entrepreneurial drive are the hallmarks of any good hospital administrator and she has effortlessly glided into this role at 'Naruvi Hospitals', uniquely complementing the Chairman's role.
The promise in her was seen even in her student days. Completing her graduation and post-graduation in Chemistry from the prestigious Bharathidasan University, she moved up step by step and now oversees all operational activities and academics at 'Naruvi Hospitals'.
She has been an excellent student in the academic field she had chosen at the University level, and a gold medalist in the undergraduate programme. Business is largely learning by doing. She first joined as a partner in 'Ever Bright Granites', a company in the business of manufacture and export of granite slabs and monuments to foreign countries.
Having learnt the bolts and nuts of an export business in a demanding field, she then set up a Proprietorship concern, M/s Pearl Distributors, engaged in sale of cement and related business.
A Trustee of the 'SANCO' Foundation, a Public Charitable Trust, she in the course of time took on more business responsibilities as Director in M/s Pearl Human Care Private Limited and M/s Gold Land Ventures Private Limited.
She is also a partner in M/s Pearl Infra Works LLP, M/s Natio Healthcare LLP, M/s Santech Software Solutions LLP, besides in M/s Onyx Trading and M/s Onyx Distributors, an entity which deals in both Cement and Steel.
